Hack Library School

In December 2011 I noticed that Hack Library School, a blog I had read and admired since starting library school, was looking for new writers. I jumped at the chance to apply, soon found out I had been accepted, and began writing monthly posts in February 2012. Thus far I have written posts on topics as disparate as Indiana University's School of Library and Information Science, special collections librarianship, why library school students should present at conferences, and GIS librarianship. I am constantly inspired by the posts of my fellow HackLibSchool writers and the many insightful comments we receive--needless to say, writing for HackLibSchool has been one of my favorite opportunities that has come my way.
