It has obviously been a while since my last post. Somehow, writing for this blog has continued fluttering to the very bottom of my to-do lists. This past semester I started working 40 hours a week split between 5 jobs. I’ve been acting as the President of IU’s Society of American Archivists student chapter and Managing Editor for Hack Library School. I presented at three conferences, and submitted proposals for a staggering number in the spring and summer of 2013. All of this is just to say that I am busy. Delightfully so, but busy nonetheless. It has led me to think all the more carefully about the projects I am spending my time on and how I can have a more fruitful and enjoyable new year.
I’ve decided that I absolutely want to keep blogging–but it means I’ll need to prioritize it, which I’ve been rather poor at, resulting in an awful guilt when I think of how I’ve been letting this blog languish. It’s not a good system.
I plan to migrate this blog from Blogger to my WordPress powered website. It seems like a logical step. After that, my aim is to have much more regular content. Sticking to a schedule with this blog is my SOLE resolution for the year. Thanks for reading and please bear with me as I make the move!
