Last Friday I attended an Indiana Special Libraries Association event held at the Indianapolis Art Museum. The event consisted of a tour of the IMA library and archives followed by a meeting with SLA president Brent Mai. Unfortunately, since the meeting was already 45 minutes behind schedule by the time it was set to begin I couldn’t stay for that part of the event.
It was my first time at the IMA and I was awestruck! I love the mid-century modern elements. Below, some photos from the behind-the-scenes tour for your perusal. (The swatches/floor plans/Eames chair folder tab all belong to the Miller House collections, FYI. The rest are materials from other collections I can’t identify.)
